Welcome to Big Dave Photography
Big Dave Photography (http://www.bigdavep.co.uk) was created by myself (David Portass) as an outlet for my hobby of photography which has started to become a business.
To date I have done photographic work for Corby S&L Ladies Football Club to shoot a number of their 2009/2010 season matches, Cadred.org and Heaven Media for event photography at Multiplay's i-Series computer gaming events which is the largest bring your own pc LAN event in the UK (1,500+ gamers) and most recently and most proudly, Derby County Football Club hired me to photograph their newly hosted 6-a-side tournament known as the Moor Farm Shield held at their world class training facility in Oakwood, Derby.
I have experience in event photography, gaming photography, football photography, glamour photography and portrait photograhy and I am continually trying new things to expand my portfolio into new area's as well as improving on what I am already comfortable covering.

After an amazing weekend at the Y Not Festival (30th July 2010 - 1st August 2010) near Matlock in Derbyshire where I ended up shooting around 30 bands while volunteering I have begun to upload the processed

Derby County Moor Farm Shield 2010 - Warmup photos, Group 1 and Group 2 match photos are now online. Semi Final and Final photos should be online Thursday night.

Derby County Moor Farm Shield 2010 - Team Photos, awards the winning team's (Robinson Construction) photos are now available
here.
The match photos will be processed and uploaded over the next few days so check back Wednesday evening.

 PayPal has now been added onto the site to accept payment either by credit/debit card or via an existing PayPal account. |

Photos from Chellaston Boys FC vs Santos FC are now online and ready for ordering here. You will need to signup to start ordering.
The online ordering system is now online too however the only methods of payment are currently BACs Transfer, Cheque and Cash on delivery (Derby only). I will be integrating PayPal payment into the site over the next week but in the mean time I can accept payment via PayPal directly if that is preferred, simply order as normal, select BACs transfer and in the instructions tell me that you would like to pay via PayPal and I will email you with the necessary details.
Print sizes available are 6" x 4", 7" x 5", 8" x 6", 10" x 8" and 12" x 8". There are also 3 digital file sizes available for purchase too, Small for Facebook, Medium and Large. |

Hopefully the online ordering system will be ready at the same time however prints can be ordered via the contact me page if the online ordering capabilities is not ready, information will be posted here so please keep checking back. |

The website is currently undergoing some major updates which will be launched over the next week or so which include easier browsing of photos by using your keyboards arrow keys and more importantly the ability to order photo prints and digital copies. |
